Weddings simply have to be perfect. Not because it only happens once in a lifetime, but because every woman spends a lot of time during her childhood and adolescent years dreaming of the day her perfect fairytale wedding happens. Organizing a wedding needs meticulous planning from the wedding dress down to the wedding lights. Although making a list greatly helps in prioritising the most to the least important aspect, to a bride, every single detail counts as important as another.

Fairy lights, a common United Kingdom term for Christmas lights, evolved from an 1882 Gilbert and Sullivan operetta where tiny star lights adorned the top of fairies heads. But these are really quite distinct from other Christmas lighting. Today, a fairy light is the product name for strings of miniature electric lamps, mostly used for decor and special effects, developed into many varieties as icicle, curtain, cluster or net lights to create an enchanting ambience both indoors and outdoors.
